This unique new RepsforSecurity website fills a very serious informational gap within the Security Industry. Manufacturers' Representatives, typically, are the local 'territorial glue' for Manufacturers who utilize their services, by taking advantage of the long term territorial relationships and knowledge of key Integrators, End Users, Consultants as well as current local market conditions and history. By representing multiple lines, Representatives have ready access to these potential customers, which, very often, Direct Sales people, selling a single line, do not. Now, interested Manufacturers, whether existing or new, can have ready access to a detailed database of Security Representative firms throughout the U.S., to help them get connected, locally or nationwide. Current Rep firm product line lists are included, as are company resumes, vertical markets, contact information and specific territories covered. Integrators and Consultants will also be able to utilize this valuable information. Considering that Representatives don’t get paid until they sell something, I suspect this website will be quite busy in the near future.
